Lutheran Services in America joined with other national nonprofits to ask the Department of Labor to address critical gaps in data and evidence on nonprofit sector employment and wages by directing the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to provide quarterly data on nonprofit employment and wages through its Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW).
