In the top tier of retirement communities in the nation, Frasier is an independent, mission driven, CARF accredited home to a vibrant community of nearly 450 residents who have chosen Frasier as the base for a retirement that is active physically, intellectually and socially. Located in Boulder, CO, this includes many retired professors and staff from the University of Colorado. The Director of Pastoral Care plays a significant role in the lives of both residents and staff as Frasier continues to implement innovative methods to create community, and build on our culture of excellence.
The Director of Pastoral Care is the leader of a team working to provide spiritual care for residents, family members/friends and staff of all faith traditions (including none) at Frasier. This means knowing the community well and being able to sensitively discern the needs, joys and sorrows of all of its members, and cultivate and facilitate an atmosphere in which residents can thrive. Candidates must be ordained or credentialed for chaplaincy.
