SPECIAL EVENTS Partnering for Impact: Navigating a Shifting Medicaid Landscape to Address Social Needs

  • March 26, 2026

1:00–2:15 p.m. ET

Join us for the soft launch of “Partnering for Impact: How Social Service and Community-Based Organizations Can Navigate Change in the New Medicaid Landscape,” a practical guide for social service and community-based organizations to strengthen partnerships with state Medicaid agencies, Medicaid managed care organizations, policymakers, and other stakeholders in healthcare and philanthropy.

In this webinar, we will provide an overview to the guide, which includes strategies across data and return on investment, payment models and service delivery, operational excellence, and strategic alliances. We will also present real examples from the Lutheran Services in America network that advance health‑related social needs (HRSN) through Medicaid partnerships and host a cross‑sector panel on what it will take to strengthen outcomes for people on Medicaid.

Speakers

  • Stuart Butler, the Brookings Institution
  • Katie Horton, The George Washington University
  • Enrique Vidal-Martinez, Association for Community Affiliated Plans
  • Ji Im, CommonSpirit
  • Héctor Colón, Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan
  • Mark Stutrud, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois
