Allie Broxton is the Director of Health & Housing at Lutheran Services in America. Allie focuses on addressing housing insecurity for older adults, persons with disabilities, and foster youth and families with limited incomes, while promoting the integration of supportive services in housing to address social determinants of health.

Prior to joining the organization, Allie led Cook County’s Office of the Chief Judge in their system transformation of the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center. She provided her invaluable expertise in governance, capacity building, and strategic planning to reimagine the full continuum of juvenile care. Her contributions included vision setting, strategy execution, implementation, and continuous quality improvement support. Allie’s dedication to value-driven practices is evident in her focus on outcomes that promote equity, justice, and sustainable change.

Allie obtained a B.S. from Howard University and furthered her education with an M.A. in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago.
